I have culturing things spread all around the house it seems :) "Several feet" is what I read as far as how far the cultures should be apart. Man I need to move my milk kefir away from my sourdough. Love your pretty vinegar mother. I need one!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14463854174263713032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5212502404088013274.post-75367663309029365312010-02-12T13:16:13.061-08:002010-02-12T13:16:13.061-08:00I've been reading about Kombucha, and am think...I've been reading about Kombucha, and am thinking about playing with that for my next "experiment". I need to find out more about the possibility of intermingling culture spores. I don't play with the vinegar when I have sourdough out proofing because I don't want to contaminate either. I have to figure out how to keep all these cultures happy in a small kitchen.Sadgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01953324909028095434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5212502404088013274.post-31292927706369215822010-02-12T08:26:21.546-08:002010-02-12T08:26:21.546-08:00Looks like gold to me! I have a massive amount of it, and the "mother" will conform to whatever container to put it in. I used old fashioned huge crocks!! My Mother (now I need to name her, I feel guilty!!) is large, wide, and huge..and provides us with wonderful beverage that helps the flora in our bellies!! <br />Thank you for all your posts,Earthdrummerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16844734109596298102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5212502404088013274.post-17675241702131793412010-02-11T07:10:22.262-08:002010-02-11T07:10:22.262-08:00This sounds pretty easy (now that you have Jolene)...This sounds pretty easy (now that you have Jolene).
