Do You Suffer From OCD?

Do you find yourself stalking every laden fruit tree in your entire neighborhood? Do you need a flatbed truck to get your Farmers Market purchases home? Is everyone on your gift list (and even those that don't know they're on your list) getting a jar of jelly this year? You might be suffering from OCD (Obsessive Canning Disorder - I totally stole that from Throwback at Trapper Creek). If so, you might benefit from reading my most recent post over at the SGF Co-op blog. Check it out!

I suffer from this disorder..lol even though it is winter down here, I have been making seville orange marmalade today. I love reading your blog, it just goes to show how similar people are around the world. Thanks for the apple sauce recipe, I will have kgs of apples next year.

We drove from Denver to Durango and back this week and my head kept whipping around as we passed apple trees. We picked a few at a rest stop in Salida, but they were no where near ready. We may drive back just to go picking next month!!!! I am totally on the lookout for free fruit to can. I definitely am OCD. My stepmom gave me a great book this weekend for canning. She feeds my addiction. :) This is the week to order peaches, pickle some beets and do something with the mountain of zucchinis I picked this morning. Four days away and oh my!!
